About WEALTHEDU

Education first. Always.

Why a nonprofit exists to teach you the things most financial marketing tries to sell you.

Most people approaching retirement have real, specific questions - will my Social Security be taxed, what happens to my savings if the market drops right when I stop working, is there a smarter way to structure my withdrawals? Getting clear answers to those questions usually eans sitting through a sales pitch first.

What “no sales pitch” actually means

It’s a specific, deliberate constraint on how we operate, not a marketing line:

  • Our educators don’t pitch specific investment or insurance products during a session.

  • Attending an event never obligates you to a follow-up call, a meeting, or anything else.

  • The educational content is developed to be accurate and useful on its own - not as a lead-in to a sales conversation.

If you want personalized help, that’s a separate, optional choice - not something the presentation nudges you toward. See “How the advisor network works” below.

How the advisor network works

Some of what we teach is genuinely general - the tax rules are the tax rules. But applying them to your specific situation is a personal question, not a general one. For attendees who want that kind of help, we maintain a network of approved advisors - financial professionals we’ve personally vetted, not an open directory anyone can join.

If you choose to request a consultation after a webinar, you’re typically connected with the advisor who presented that session, or another approved advisor in the network if that’s a better fit. You choose whether to take that step. We don’t take a cut of any resulting business relationship in a way that compromises the advisor’s independent judgment or your interests.

Who we are

Financial Educators Network, Inc. was founded to make practical financial education accessible without the pressure that usually comes attached to it. Our educators are licensed financial professionals who volunteer their time and expertise to present sessions under the WealthEdu program, each vetted before joining the network.
